There's a certain kind of satisfaction that comes from pulling up to a house and seeing the front yard completely changed for the better. That's exactly what happened here. The old landscape had run its course - overgrown, tired, and just not doing the home justice anymore. So we stripped it all out and started fresh with a clean design the homeowner actually had a vision for.
The new layout centers around a large, sweeping bed that follows the natural flow of the front yard. We worked in a mix of roses, ornamental grasses, lavender, and yellow blooms - planted in a way that gives the bed structure without looking rigid. The dark mulch ties it all together and makes every plant pop. It's one of those details that seems small but makes a huge difference in the final look.
What we love about this kind of landscape installation work is that it's not just about picking pretty plants. It's about spacing, layering, and making sure the design holds up over time. We kept the existing Japanese maple and worked around it intentionally - it anchors the left side of the bed and adds height and color that no new planting could replicate overnight.
The area near the front entry got its own treatment too. Boxwoods flanking the steps, a weeping accent tree near the garage, and color pops right along the brick walkway. Every section of this landscape ties back to the original plan. Nothing was improvised just to fill space.
When a homeowner comes to us with a vision and trusts us to bring it to life, we take that seriously. This is exactly the kind of work we do best - full landscape design and installation from concept to completion, built to look great from day one and grow in beautifully over time.
